Death God n Guillotine!! Death Awaits!!!
The second week of EID( Engineering Innovation n Design) has ended. My group's progress is very slow... guess i'm at fault too. I shall be more proactive in the weeks to come. Nonetheless the 2nd week was quite eventful esp towards the end. The entire week was spent on a mini project in which we're suppose to come up with a "mechanism" after only one week of 'lesson' about programming and circuitry work. Quite a challenge indeed. Luckily we managed to come up with a crappy idea which is to imitate the game of HangMan but we'll do a game with guillotine style execution instead. The 'game' included a set of questions and for every correct answer, the Death god would move back half a step while an incorrect answer will move the Death God one step forward. The game end when the death god triggers the guillotine n the poor victim is dead. We came up with the idea while crapping and somehow, our idea seems to be interesting to other groups and also the tutors. On Friday, every group presented their work and after peer assessment n tutor grading, we managed to emerge as the winner. I sure felt great coz our idea is more interesting than the rest. The prize was super anti-climax though...... an umbrella! wat the helll!! we work so hard.. and they only gave us an umbrella.... wat to do..this is a course which we must clear.... sigh..... so much for creativity and hardwork. Nonetheless we're all satisfied with wat we have done and definitely proud of it. As we won, we were asked not to dismantle the set-up until at least the following week... But i wish it could be displayed in the lab for a year or so... i really dun wanna dismantle it after spending much effort and time... the fruit of labour...sigh... at least it's still intact for now..i hope...
